Lyubov Titova is a Professor of Physics at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) with an affiliate appointment in Chemical Engineering. Her research focuses on ultrafast terahertz and optical spectroscopy of nanomaterials, including applications in photovoltaics, THz photonics, and biomedical diagnostics. She leads the THz Physics Lab, part of WPI’s Energy Research Group and AIM Photonics consortium.

- Terahertz spectroscopy of 2D materials (MXenes, GeS, SnS2)
- Ultrafast carrier dynamics in nanomaterials
- Biomedical applications of THz pulses (cancer diagnostics, cell membrane interactions)
- Energy materials for photovoltaics and solar fuel production
