Lynsey Farrell is a Senior Lecturer in International Studies at the Lauder Institute Africa program, adjunct faculty at the University of Pennsylvania's School of Arts and Sciences, and affiliated with the Department of Anthropology. Her work focuses on youth, international development, urbanization, and informality in sub-Saharan Africa, with field research in Nairobi's Kibera settlement. She previously directed American University’s Kenya program on Sustainable International Development.
