Lynne Innerst

Lynne Innerst is an Associate Professor and Head of Graduate Acting at Temple University's School of Theater, Film and Media Arts. She joined Temple in 2006 and has extensive experience as a professional actor, acting coach, and educator. She is a Master Teacher and founding member of The Fitzmaurice Voice Group, having trained faculty at institutions like Harvard, Yale, and Juilliard.

Her expertise spans voice training, acting techniques, and theater pedagogy. She has worked in film, television, and regional repertory theater, with notable credits including roles in The Christmas Tree (dir. Sally Field) and The Pennsylvania Miners Story (dir. David Frankel). She is affiliated with professional organizations such as SAG, Actors Equity, and The Voice and Speech Teacher Association.

Lynne holds an MFA from the University of Southern California and a BFA from the University of New Mexico. Her teaching emphasizes practical training for actors transitioning to professional careers, with many of her students becoming industry professionals.
