Sarah Doherty

Sarah Doherty is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Theater at Temple University's School of Theater, Film and Media Arts. A Barrymore Award-winning actor originally from Ireland, she has been active in Philadelphia's theater scene for over a decade. She holds an MFA in Acting from Temple University and teaches Acting, Voice, and Speech at Temple, the University of Pennsylvania, and Rowan University.

Her professional affiliations include certifications as a Fitzmaurice Voicework Associate Teacher and membership in Actor's Equity Association. She has performed with notable local theater companies such as Pig Iron, Walnut Street Theatre, Arden Theatre Company, Theater Catalyst, People's Light & Theatre Company, and Act II Playhouse.

Her teaching focuses on performance techniques and vocal training, complemented by her extensive stage experience and commitment to theater education.
