Dr. Lynn Vidler (they/them) is Provost & Executive Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and Professor of Spanish at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS). Previously, they served as Dean of UCCS's College of Letters, Arts & Sciences, Program Director at the United States Military Academy, and Associate Dean at the University of South Dakota. They co-lead university-wide initiatives including UCCS's Leadership Development Quality Initiative and CU's Strategic Planning Committee.
Their research spans two core domains:
- Early-modern Spanish literature: Specializing in 17th-century drama staging practices and theatrical reconstruction
- Academic leadership: Focusing on transformative administration models and dean development
