Lynn Vidler

Dr. Lynn Vidler (they/them) is Provost & Executive Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and Professor of Spanish at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS). Previously, they served as Dean of UCCS's College of Letters, Arts & Sciences, Program Director at the United States Military Academy, and Associate Dean at the University of South Dakota. They co-lead university-wide initiatives including UCCS's Leadership Development Quality Initiative and CU's Strategic Planning Committee.

Their research spans two core domains:

• Early-modern Spanish literature: Specializing in 17th-century drama staging practices and theatrical reconstruction
• Academic leadership: Focusing on transformative administration models and dean development

Publications demonstrate interdisciplinary engagement, including a groundbreaking 2014 book on Spanish Golden Age performance reconstruction and an edited volume on academic leadership transformation. Their work appears in journals like Bulletin of the Comediantes and Innovative Higher Education.
