Lynn Butler

Lynn Butler is an Associate Professor at the Department of Clinical Medicine, UiT The Arctic University of Norway, and a Senior Researcher at the Department of Molecular Medicine and Surgery, Karolinska Institute, Sweden. She leads the Translational Vascular Research Group and is affiliated with the EMBL Centre for Molecular Medicine, Norway.

Her research focuses on endothelial cell biology, specifically identifying genes uniquely expressed in endothelial cells and their role in vascular function. She investigates plasma biomarkers for vascular health and diseases like thrombosis and COVID-19 complications. Her work includes projects on endothelial response to inflammation, uncharacterized endothelial gene functions, and translational vascular research.
