Lyn Millner is a Professor in the Department of Communication & Philosophy at Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU). She founded FGCU’s journalism program and is renowned for her work in narrative and audio journalism. Her research focuses on cult science, journalism history, female hysteria, and the history of women’s basketball.
Education: M.F.A., Creative Writing – Nonfiction, Florida International University.
Teaching & Research Interests: Specializes in audio journalism, news literacy, and editing. Her work has been featured on NPR’s ‘Morning Edition,’ ‘Weekend Edition,’ and American Public Media’s ‘Marketplace,’ alongside publications in The New York Times, The Hollywood Reporter, and others.
