Lydia Kearney

Dr Lydia Kearney is a Senior Lecturer in Psychology and Director of Studies at the School of Psychology, University of Kent. Her work focuses on mental health, student experience, and cognitive processes underlying anxiety and depression.

• Research Interests: Social anxiety, mental imagery, attentional biases, rumination, emotion regulation, and mixed-methods approaches to studying dyadic/small-group interactions.
• Teaching: The Psychology of Successful Learning (PSYC3141) and Mental Health - Diagnosis, Interventions and Treatments (PSYC6410).
