Lukas Swyton

Lukas Swyton is a Visiting Lecturer at the Dickson Poon School of Law, King’s College London, specializing in English and comparative public law, EU law, and legal history. He teaches Constitutional and Administrative Law on the Postgraduate Diploma in Law and Legal Practice and Public Law on the LLB program.

His research focuses on public law mechanisms across jurisdictions, with a notable collaborative project Revival of the Rule of Law (co-authored with ECJ Judge Marek Safjan, Intersentia 2023). He previously held roles at the European Court of Justice, contributing to EU law jurisprudence, and worked as a research assistant in Roman Law at Oxford.
