Lucy Heath

Lucy Heath is a Lecturer in Adult Nursing at Middlesex University, affiliated with the Faculty of Health, Social Care and Education and the Department of Adult, Child & Midwifery. She holds dual roles as Acting Programme Leader for the FdSc Nursing Associate and BSc Adult Nursing Apprenticeship programmes. Her teaching spans multiple modules across Nursing Associate and Adult Nursing programmes, including leadership roles in cohort management and module coordination.

Heath’s qualifications include Bachelors degrees in Adult Nursing and Midwifery, a Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education, and an MSc in Nursing Studies. She is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and maintains clinical practice as an Adult Nurse. Her research focuses on educational strategies in nursing, including social media as a learning tool and acute care management.

Her publications address learning styles, academic transition for nursing students, and acute kidney injury management. She actively engages in curriculum improvement through Student Voice Leader meetings and apprenticeship process reviews.
