Aneta Polec

Aneta Polec is a Senior Lecturer and Director of Programmes for Adult BSc Nursing at Middlesex University, affiliated with the Faculty of Health, Social Care and Education's Adult, Child & Midwifery department. She holds an Advanced Diploma in Adult Nursing (2010, Middlesex University), a BSc in Contemporary Nursing (2010, University of Hertfordshire), and an MSc in Advanced Professional Practice (Nursing Education, 2022, Middlesex University). Her expertise spans Critical Care Nursing, Clinical Practice Education, and Nursing Education.

Her teaching roles include leading the FdSc Nursing Associate Apprenticeship (NIP2900) and BSc Nursing Apprenticeship (NIP3803). Her research interests focus on nursing education in crisis contexts and clinical practice development. She has published on nursing associate training during the pandemic and clinical practice in hospital settings.

Externally, she serves as an RCNi peer reviewer and External Examiner at Buckinghamshire New University. Her career includes roles as a Clinical Practice Educator in Intensive Care Units and Clinical Nursing roles in surgical and gynaecology departments.
