Lucy Campbell is an Associate Professor at Carleton University's School of Mathematics and Statistics. Her office is located in Herzberg Physical Laboratories (HP 4269). She teaches courses including Multivariable Calculus/Intermediate Calculus (MATH 2004/2008) and maintains active research in applied mathematics.
Research Focus: Her work spans geophysical fluid dynamics, nonlinear wave theory, numerical methods for partial differential equations, and asymptotic analysis. She applies perturbation techniques to model complex physical phenomena in fluid systems.
Academic Service: Serves as Associate Editor for the Canadian Journal of Mathematics, Canadian Mathematical Bulletin, and Maple Transactions, and previously for Mathematics of Climate and Weather Forecasting. Currently co-organizing the Seventh Annual Ottawa-Carleton Applied Analysis Day (November 2024).
