Wesley Perkins

Wesley Perkins is an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at Lyon College, specializing in the stability and dynamics of nonlinear waves in partial differential equations. He holds a PhD from the University of Kansas (KU) and was awarded the 2021 Bernstein Award for Future Faculty for his innovative teaching practices. His research focuses on spectral stability, modulational dynamics, and subharmonic perturbations of periodic waves in fluid dynamics and nonlinear optics.
