Lucia Prauscello is a Senior Research Fellow at All Souls College, University of Oxford, specializing in Archaic and Classical Greek Literature, Papyrology, and Greek religion. Previously held positions include University Lecturer (2006-2016) and Reader (2016-2018) at the Faculty of Classics, University of Cambridge, and Fellow/Director of Studies at Trinity Hall, Cambridge. She holds a PhD from Scuola Normale Superiore, Pisa, and undergraduate training at Pisa University.
Her research focuses on textual transmission of ancient Greek literature, papyrological studies, and intersections between religion and cultural history. Key projects include editing Plato’s Laws, analyzing Sappho fragments, and studying ancient cult practices. She contributes to the Oxyrhynchus Papyri Management Committee and co-edits the Cambridge Classical Journal.
