Lu Yuan

Dr. Lu Yuan is an Adjunct Associate Professor in the Department of Environmental Health Sciences at Tulane University's School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine and Corporate EHS Manager at Performance Contractors. His academic background includes a ScD and MS in Occupational Ergonomics and Safety from University of Massachusetts Lowell, and a BE in Safety Engineering from Beijing Institute of Technology.

Dr. Yuan's research focuses on occupational ergonomics and safety, environmental health, biomechanics, and human factors, particularly in construction and industrial sectors. His interdisciplinary work integrates engineering principles with health science to improve workplace safety.

Recent publications demonstrate consistent research themes in ergonomic interventions and occupational health, with applications spanning construction safety, biomechanical modeling, and industrial hazard prevention. Methodological approaches include field studies and computational modeling.
