Louise Toft

Louise Toft is a Senior Lecturer in Adult Nursing at the University of Worcester, teaching across Worcester and Dudley campuses. Her career spans clinical roles in acute and community settings across Birmingham and the Black Country, with specialized experience in gastroenterology nursing, addictions treatment, and health visiting. She transitioned to academia in 2018 after roles as a Clinical Education Sister and practice mentor.

• Qualifications: RN Dip HE (Adult), Mentorship in Practice module, BSc (Hons) Specialist Community Public Health Nursing (Health Visiting), Teaching In Professional Practice (NMC Practice Teacher – level 7), Post Graduate Certificate in Education for Health, Social Care and Allied Health Professionals, MA Education.

Her teaching interests focus on clinical practice integration, student nurse support, and advancing nursing education. She maintains professional memberships relevant to her field.
