Lorna Anderson is a Lecturer in Vocal Performance at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland with over 20 years of teaching experience across institutions including RWCMD and RCS. She trained at RCS and the Royal College of Music, receiving awards at both institutions. Her performance career spans opera, concert, and recital work globally, with specializations in baroque repertoire and contemporary commissions.
Her research interests focus on vocal performance practices across historical periods, from medieval Scottish music to impressionist composers like Fauré and Debussy. She maintains an active performance schedule, recently creating the role of 'The Greyhound' in a community opera and performing at Trinity College, Cambridge.
