Lois Paretti

Lois Paretti serves as the Clinical Field Experience Coordinator in the Department of Teaching and Learning at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). She holds an M.A. in Developmental Psychology and an Ed.M. from Teachers College, Columbia University, alongside a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Florida. Her roles include overseeing all aspects of clinical field experiences for pre-service teacher preparation programs, managing undergraduate and graduate alternative licensure pathways, and leading a learning community fostering collaboration between UNLV and 21st Century Schools.

Previously, Paretti worked as an elementary school principal in New York and taught teacher education courses. Her professional interests focus on improving teacher retention, enhancing teacher preparation programs, and designing impactful professional development initiatives. She emphasizes the importance of partnerships between schools and universities to cultivate effective educators.
