Lois Miller

Lois Miller is Assistant Professor in Economics at University of South Carolina's Darla Moore School of Business. Her research examines how access to postsecondary education affects inequality and social mobility, with focus on college proximity, affordability, and transfer pathways.

• Impacts of tuition freezes and financial aid policies
• College quality effects on labor market outcomes
• Spatial barriers in higher education access

Recipient of NAEd/Spencer Dissertation Fellowship and Riegel and Emory HR Center Grant. Teaches Economics of Education with focus on policy evaluation methods.
