Lluís Costa Tutusaus

Lluís Costa Tutusaus is an Associate Professor at the Department of Human Nutrition and Dietetics and Pharmacy within the Blanquerna School of Health Sciences at Ramon Llull University. His work focuses on global wellbeing research, food security, health inequalities, and clinical interventions in chronic diseases such as COPD and Down syndrome. He leads the Global Research on Wellbeing (GRoW) initiative funded by AGAUR and has collaborated on projects addressing post-retirement wellbeing, food insecurity in Catalonia, and the impact of clinical placements on healthcare students.

His research spans observational studies, randomized controlled trials, and scoping reviews, with a strong emphasis on public health outcomes. Notable contributions include analyzing dietary disparities in high-income countries, evaluating sexual violence exposure during clinical training, and testing acupuncture for COPD dyspnea management.
