Lisandro Abadie is a Universitätsprofessor (Professor) of Voice (Baroque) at the Department of Early Music, Mozarteum University Salzburg. He specializes in Baroque opera and historical performance practice, combining a distinguished singing career with scholarly research. Born in Buenos Aires, he trained at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis and Lucerne School of Music, receiving the Edwin Fischer Memorial Prize (2006).
