Dr. Lisa Wisman Weil is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders and Assistant Dean in the School of Communication at Emerson College. Her research focuses on child language development, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), developmental language disorder (DLD), and early intervention strategies in speech-language pathology. She co-directs the Language in Infants + Toddlers (LI+TLE) Lab, investigating language acquisition in young children with neurodevelopmental disorders and caregiver experiences in early intervention programs. Her teaching includes courses on autism, communication disorders, and clinical methods in speech-language pathology.
