Lisa V. Adams

Lisa V. Adams, MD serves as Associate Dean for Global Health and Director of The Center for Global Health Equity at the Geisel School of Medicine, Dartmouth College, holding a Professor of Medicine position within the Infectious Disease and International Health Section. She designs interdisciplinary global health programs and mentors students in this capacity.

Her research expertise focuses on international tuberculosis care and prevention, with specialized emphasis on pediatric TB and TB/HIV co-infection healthcare delivery systems. She has provided extensive technical assistance to Ministries of Health and nongovernmental partners across multiple countries to strengthen health infrastructure in resource-limited settings.

Dr. Adams actively mentors students through global health education initiatives and delivered a notable 2019 TEDx talk titled 'Global Health Partnerships: Check Your Privilege at the Border,' highlighting equity in international collaborations. Her leadership drives program development focused on sustainable health partnerships.

As Director of The Center for Global Health Equity, she leads multidisciplinary teams implementing research, training, and service projects aimed at reducing health disparities worldwide through evidence-based interventions in underserved communities.
