Lisa Mommsen

Lisa Mommsen is a Lecturer II in the Intensive English Program at the University of Central Arkansas (UCA), within the School of Language and Literature. She holds an M.A. from Soka University of America. Prior to joining UCA in 2006, she taught English as a Foreign Language (EFL) for six years at a college in Tokyo, Japan, specializing in courses like public speaking, academic writing, and marketing seminars. She has since taught nearly all courses in UCA's Intensive English Program. Her professional interests focus on project-based learning and curriculum development, with a commitment to ESL education.
