Dr. Lisa M. Lee is a Research Professor in the Department of Population Health Sciences at the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine, Virginia Tech. She concurrently serves as Senior Associate Vice President for Research and Innovation and Director of the Division of Scholarly Integrity and Research Compliance at Virginia Tech's Office of Research and Innovation. Previously, she was the inaugural Chief of Bioethics at the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research and Executive Director of the U.S. Presidential Bioethics Commission under the Obama administration. Her career spans over 25 years in public health and ethics, including 14 years at the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
