About
Lisa Gunther is an Associate Lecturer and PhD candidate at Lancaster University's Management School, specializing in Organisation, Work and Technology. Her research focuses on integrating Aristotle's concept of phronēsis (practical wisdom) into management education to counter ethical failures and AI's dominance in decision-making. She conducted a longitudinal qualitative study across three MBA cohorts (2016-2019) using Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis.
Research interests include ethical decision-making, pedagogic interventions, reflexive capabilities, and AI's impact on managerial practices. She has participated in major conferences like the Academy of Management Annual Meeting and Philosophy of Management Conference, contributed to peer-review processes, and organized seminars on AI technologies.
