Lisa Connell, Ph.D., is a Professor of French at the University of West Georgia, affiliated with the School of Humanities within the College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences. She additionally serves as Co-Director of the Office of Undergraduate Research and a Mentoring Fellow with the Institute of Faculty Excellence. Her expertise spans postcolonial theory, Francophone women writers, autobiography, and Caribbean narratives.
Her research investigates colonial policies' impacts on postcolonial knowledge formation and representations, with a focus on authors like Maryse Condé and Assia Djebar.
