Lisa Chaddick

Lisa Chaddick, Ed.D., MPH, serves as the Internship Coordinator for the Department of Public Health at Sam Houston State University (SHSU). With a Doctor of Education in Higher Education Leadership from SHSU and a Master of Public Health from the University of Michigan, she has been a dedicated faculty member since 2011.

Her research focuses on adult learning theory, challenge and support theory, and experiential learning, aiming to enhance student growth and success. Dr. Chaddick is actively involved in professional organizations such as the Cooperative Education and Internship Association and advises the Honors Health organization Eta Sigma Gamma. She also advocates for LGBT students and students of color.
