Lisa Casey

Dr. Lisa Casey is Professor of Music at Missouri State University, specializing in horn performance and brass pedagogy. She teaches applied horn, brass methods, and horn ensemble, while maintaining an active performance career.

Her professional background includes performances with symphony orchestras and opera companies, along with international tours in Scandinavia. She has recorded for MSR Classics and Encore Music labels.

Dr. Casey serves as principal horn for both the Springfield Symphony and Ozarks Lyric Opera. Her pedagogical approach emphasizes technical mastery and expressive performance.
