Lisa Babb is a Lecturer in the School of Industrial Design at Georgia Institute of Technology’s College of Design. She holds a Master’s degree from Pratt Institute and a Bachelor’s from Baruch College. With over 20 years of experience, her career spans graphic design, education, and activism focused on social justice. She has designed award-winning annual reports, pharmaceutical campaigns, and museum projects, while advocating for diverse design education models.
Her philosophy emphasizes design as a tool for societal change, reflected in her mantra: 'If you want a better world, make one.' Babb has built graphic design programs from scratch, prioritizing demographic and ideological diversity in education.
