Linsey Hunter

Linsey Hunter is a part-time Lecturer at the Centre for History within the University of the Highlands and Islands. Her academic work focuses on medieval and early modern history, with a strong emphasis on Scottish and English topics. She also engages in pedagogical research and is committed to student supervision.

• Research Interests: Medieval History, Early Modern History, Medievalisms, Gender and Law in Medieval Narratives, Digital Medievalism.
• Teaching: Delivers medieval, early modern, and modern history modules via videoconferencing, addressing technical and pedagogical challenges.

Her research stems from her PhD thesis on the Anglo-Scottish Border Region and extends to exploring the reception of the medieval period in modern contexts. She is currently working on a monograph about Finella, Lady of the Mearns, and collaborative medieval projects.
