Linhdung Pham is a Lecturer of Physics at the College of Science and Engineering, University of Houston-Clear Lake. She holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering (Summa Cum Laude) and graduate degrees in Engineering Physics from the University of California, San Diego. Her research focused on turbulence in stratified environmental flows, contributing to engineering models for large-scale fluid dynamics. Prior to UHCL, she taught at the University of San Diego (2007-2021) and the University of Houston, Central (2021-2022), covering introductory physics, 'Physics by Inquiry,' and courses for K-12 educators. She developed dual-degree programs in Mechanical Engineering-Physics and the Integrated Teacher Preparation Program.
Ms. Pham emphasizes inquiry-based learning, fostering analytical and communication skills through active classroom environments. Her teaching spans small and large classes, prioritizing real-world applications of physics principles. Beyond academia, she enjoys traveling, hiking, and building Legos with her children.
