Dr Lindsey Cherry is an Associate Professor at the University of Southampton and Education Environment Lead at Southampton Central PCN. She leads the Personalised Care research programme within the Long Term Conditions Research group, focusing on integrating research, education, and clinical practice to improve mobility and active living for individuals with long-term conditions. Her work spans epidemiology of rheumatic foot disease, healthcare workforce transformation, and implementation science.
Dr Cherry holds a PhD in epidemiology and has contributed to international cohort studies and textbook chapters. She teaches across undergraduate and postgraduate Health Sciences programmes. Notable awards include Fellowship of the Higher Education Authority (2017), Royal College of Podiatry Academic Achievement Award (2023), and NIHR Clinical Fellowships (2009/2013).
