Lindsey Anderson

Dr. Lindsey Anderson is an Associate Professor of Instruction at Texas State University's School of Social Work and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). She holds a B.S.W./B.A. in Psychology from Carthage College, M.S.W. from Washington University in St. Louis, and Ph.D. from Baylor University.

Research focuses on:

• Joy and wellbeing in professional settings
• Practicum education methodologies
• Social work pedagogy

Practice experience spans Early Head Start programs, autism spectrum job training, criminal justice reintegration support, emergency mental health assessment, home healthcare coordination, and private practice (depression/anxiety treatment). She teaches practicum seminars integrating career preparation, professional development, and self-care strategies.
