Derek Plantenga

Derek Plantenga, LCSW is a Professor of Practice in the Department of Social Work at the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA), where he also serves as Director of the BSW Program. He holds a Master of Social Work (M.S.W.) from Our Lady of the Lake University and a Bachelor of Social Work (B.S.W.) and B.A. in Spanish from Calvin College, and is licensed as a Clinical Social Worker in Texas.
