Lindsay Cuff

Lindsay Cuff serves as an Assistant Professor of Teaching at the University of British Columbia, jointly appointed between the Faculty of Land and Food Systems and the Faculty of Forestry. She holds an MFA in Creative Writing from UBC and a BA in Women’s Studies/Environmental Studies from the University of Victoria.

Her teaching philosophy emphasizes learner-centered, experiential education rooted in Universal Design for Learning Principles. She designed courses like LFS 150 and FRST 150 (Scholarly Writing and Argumentation), integrating real-world applications into classroom practices.

Lindsay's recent publications include creative writing pieces in Grain, NY Arts Magazine, and The Malahat Review, focusing on interdisciplinary narratives blending environmental themes and feminist perspectives. Awards highlight her literary excellence, including multiple Gold Medals and a Writer in Residence fellowship.
