Lincoln Reed is an Assistant Professor of Film & Media Arts at Taylor University, affiliated with the Art, Film & Media Department. He focuses on narrative storytelling and screenwriting while mentoring students in filmmaking.

His research and creative work centers on redemptive storytelling, narrative filmmaking, and adapting short stories into short films. Over 60 of his short stories have been published in online magazines and print anthologies, two of which were adapted into award-winning short films.
Recent career highlights include a short film inspired by his college baseball experiences and the Western short film Dark Side of the Moon, which has screened at 15+ international festivals including the Almería Western Film Festival (Spain) and Northern Lights Fantastic Film Festival (Iceland).
Lincoln grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio, and was a member of Taylor University's baseball team, contributing to a 2016 Crossroads League Conference Championship. He enjoys collaborating with his wife Gabby and exploring the American West in his free time.
