Amy Neswald

Amy Neswald is an Associate Professor of Creative Writing at the University of Maine at Farmington. She holds an MFA from the University of New Hampshire (2017) and a BA from Bryn Mawr College (1992). A distinguished writer and filmmaker, her work spans fiction, screenwriting, and animated short films.

Her research interests focus on creative writing methodologies, narrative techniques in film, and interdisciplinary storytelling. Notable publications include the novel-in-stories I Know You Love Me, Too (2021), which won the New American Fiction Prize, and the screenplay The Placeholder (2008), awarded Best Screenplay at the Rhode Island International Film Festival.
