Limore Racin

Limore Racin is a Part-Time Lecturer in the BA Psychosocial Studies Department at the Social, Therapeutic and Community Studies (STaCS) program, Goldsmiths, University of London. She holds a Ph.D. in Cross-Cultural Psychology from University College London (UCL) and additional training in Global Mental Health, Trauma & Recovery from Harvard University. Her research focuses on mental health, culture, trauma, and public health, with extensive fieldwork in post-war regions such as central Mozambique and ethnographic studies in Israel. She also lectures on Psychoanalysis and Culture, Trauma, and Cinema and Psychoanalysis.

Professionally, Limore conducts international consultancies in applied research and capacity-building projects related to mental health and public health. She is a practicing therapist at MIND, a mental health charity. Her work bridges academic research with practical applications, emphasizing cross-cultural perspectives and community engagement.
