Tracey French

Tracey French is a Part-Time Lecturer in the Department of Social, Therapeutic and Community Studies (STaCS) at Goldsmiths, University of London. As a Registered Dance Movement Psychotherapist and Clinical Supervisor (ADMP UK, UKCP registered), she specializes in working with adolescents, families, and adult mental health. Her role includes teaching MA Dance Movement Psychotherapy students and providing clinical supervision.

Research Interests: Tracey focuses on therapist wellbeing and the mental health of practitioners, stemming from her MA thesis on this topic. She integrates experiential group work and clinical supervision into her teaching and practice.

Experience: Prior to Goldsmiths, she taught at the Roehampton MA DMP program, leading second-year experiential groups and clinical supervision. She has also worked in NHS, Social Services, and private mental health sectors.

Practice Hours: Monday 1:30–5pm and Tuesday 9am–5pm.
