Lilly Havstad is a Lecturer in the English Department Writing Program at Northeastern University, specializing in transnational history with a focus on colonialism, decolonization, migrations, and diasporas. She earned her PhD in History from Boston University in 2019, where her research examined Portugal’s colonial and postcolonial encounters with Mozambique.
