Liliana Fernandes is an Assistant Professor and researcher at the Center for Studies in Management and Economics (CEGE), Católica Porto Business School, Catholic University of Portugal. Her work contributes to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly in areas related to human development and social well-being.
Her research focuses on child well-being, public policy, social policy, and socio-economic indicators. She has pioneered multidimensional approaches to measuring child well-being that incorporate children’s own perceptions, with applications in Portugal and international contexts.
