Lila Milone

Lila Milone is a Lecturer in Tourism and Hospitality Management and coordinates the BSc (Hons) International Tourism and Hospitality Programme at the University of Sunderland in London. With over 20 years of experience in higher education, she teaches undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Tourism, Hospitality, and Events. Her research focuses on Equality and Diversity, Female Leadership, Employment in Tourism and Hospitality, and Responsible Tourism.

She holds a Master’s degree in Tourism Management with Distinction from Ulster University and is currently pursuing a PhD at the University of Sunderland. She is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and a member of the Guild of Travel and Tourism (London) and the Institute of Hospitality (UK).
