Dr. Lihui Bai is a Professor in the Department of Industrial & Systems Engineering at the University of Louisville's J.B. Speed School of Engineering. She co-directs the Logistics and Distribution Institute (LoDI). Her research focuses on operations research, applied optimization, and simulation modeling, addressing challenges in transportation, logistics, supply chains, electric vehicle infrastructure, and healthcare systems. She has secured funding from NSF I/UCRC, FHWA, and industry partners like GE Appliance and Tennessee Valley Authority.
