Liberman Gauthier

Gauthier Liberman is a Professor of Classics at Bordeaux 3 University since 2009. He has held academic positions at Paris 10 (1995–2009) as an Associate Professor and has served as an Invited Professor at The Ohio State University (OSU) in 2012 and an Invited Scholar at All Souls College, Oxford, in 2013.

Education:

• Member of École Normale Supérieure (1986–1991)
• Member of École française de Rome (1992–1995)

Research Interests: His scholarship focuses on the textual transmission and criticism of Greek and Latin literature, ecdotics, metrical analysis, and the historical context of ancient works, particularly Thucydides.
