Gauthier Liberman

Gauthier Liberman is a Professor of Classics at the University of Bordeaux, holding the position since 2009. Previously, he served as an Associate Professor at University of Paris X (Paris 10) from 1995 to 2009 and was a Member of Ecole Normale Supérieure (1986-1991) and École Française de Rome (1992-1995). He has held visiting roles at Ohio State University (2012) and All Souls College, Oxford (2013).

• Research Focus: Specializes in Greek and Latin textual transmission, ecdotics, classical metrics, Latin epic poetry, Greek lyrical poetry, and Greek history with a focus on editing Thucydides.
