Liang Yongye is a tenured full professor in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at Southern University of Science and Technology of China (SUSTech). He received his B.Sc. in Chemistry from Nanjing University (2003) and Ph.D. from the University of Chicago (2009), followed by postdoctoral work with Hongjie Dai at Stanford University (2009-2012).
