Li Junxue

Li Junxue is an Associate Professor in the Department of Physics at Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech). He obtained his B.Sc. in Applied Physics from China University of Mining and Technology (2008) and Ph.D. in Condensed Matter Physics from Fudan University (2015). From 2015 to 2020, he conducted postdoctoral research at the University of California, Riverside.

• Research focus on spin-heat transport phenomena in antiferromagnetic materials
• Quantum material epitaxy using MBE/PLD techniques
• Topological and correlated magnetic effects

His publications include high-impact studies in Nature, Nature Communications, and Physical Review Letters, with recent works exploring spin Hall insulators and magnon polarons. He has received multiple Best Poster Awards at international conferences.

At SUSTech, he established the Low-Dimensional Magnetism Laboratory and teaches advanced solid-state physics, college physics, and experimental courses on thin-film deposition techniques.
