Dr. Li Jia is a Professor in the School of Polymer Science and Polymer Engineering at The University of Akron, within the College of Engineering and Polymer Science. His research focuses on polymer synthesis, catalysis, and sustainable materials, with emphasis on recycling technologies and supramolecular chemistry. He holds a Ph.D. from Northwestern University and a B.Sc. from Lanzhou University. Dr. Jia leads the Jia Lab, conducting applied fundamental research to develop efficient synthetic methodologies and eco-friendly polymers.
