Li He

Li He is a Researcher at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), affiliated with the Department of Chemical Process Technology within the Faculty of Natural Sciences. His primary responsibilities include promoting innovation culture, facilitating research initiatives, and providing expertise in innovation processes for students and staff. He holds a Ph.D. from NTNU (2010), specializing in sorption-enhanced steam reforming of biomass-derived compounds.

His research focuses on sustainable hydrogen production, CO₂ capture technologies, and catalytic processes for biomass valorization. Key interests include optimizing sorption-enhanced reforming (SESR) systems, developing novel catalysts for CO₂ mitigation, and advancing thermochemical conversion pathways for renewable energy systems. He has contributed to interdisciplinary projects integrating reaction engineering, materials science, and environmental sustainability.

Notable work includes studies on hydrogen production from glucose, ethanol, and glycerol via SESR, as well as investigations into polyenic acid energy transfer mechanisms. He has presented at international conferences such as the North American Catalysis Society Meeting and the Novel Gas Conversion Symposium, emphasizing kinetic modeling of CO₂ capture and biomass-to-hydrogen pathways.
